'Don's Music Sample Competition 2006'
The rules are quite simple so read carefully:
1. Below is a short clip of a song from a band which most people should know
2. Click the play button and listen to it
3. Guess who the band are and what the song name is
4. If you think you know, leave me a comment with your answer
5. The FIRST person to post the answer CORRECTLY will be deemed the winner and will earn a place in my 'Hall of Fame' for this contest thereforth.
6. You must guess the band name AND the song name correctly to enter the Hall of Fame.
7. If you can answer only either the band name OR the song name and NOT both, but then if someone else can answer both before the deadline, the first person to give me both the answers will be the winner.
NOTE: The deadline will normally be 24 hours unless someone gets it before hand in which I may post another song up before then. However if no one guesses it, I may keep it up longer or post a hint or two.
SIDE NOTE: I understand that it is possible for people who do not know the song to simply copy down the lyrics and simply 'Google' the lyrics to find the song. That is fine by me but you are only cheating yourself ! However, to make things more interesting I will now begin to choose parts of the song where the lyrics are not so well known. The difficulty will increase GRADUALLY.
ALSO: Don't think that I will only use one genre, ANY tune can appear on here, be it rock, pop, musical, classical, comical, opera, or whatever.

OUTWARD BOUND 2005
Just a little bonus entry today, I went to Outward Bound over the Christmas Holidays as a PARTICIPANT this time, not to work :) It was just a 2 day sailing camp but for everyone that has been, I'm sure you will all remember jumping off the good o'l pier !!
Just strung a few pictures together that were taken of me in succession, unfortunately the big splash wasn't part of it :(
This was when I just jumped off the side of the pier, but it's funny because the instructor (a good friend of mine actually) said "Okay jump!" and then a split second later he was like "NO WAIT !!" so i was like "uh uh uh.... AHHHHHHH" *splash*
